My art began with painting of geometric shapes in black and white and evolved into abstract art with bold shapes and vivid colors. While painting on canvas, I discovered a love for the mixing of bold colors and for working with oils. When work with these colors, I am reminded of the complexity and fluidity of human emotions such as love, sadness, joy and hope.
“FAMILY” depicts a community of humankind from every corner of the world connected in spirit and love by the many colors and shapes painted in oil on the canvas. It represents that we are one with each other and links in a chain that can only be broken by deceit, hate and intolerance. Together we are strong!
