Nomenclature

The 44” print is a symbolic, numerical container where the artists place the unfixed order of ‘image and encounter’ in a space where the occasion becomes an object. Nomenclature addresses the ambiguity of memory, gesture, and verity. This photographic work comes from an ongoing process between the two artists using a variety of media and ritual to contextualize common experiences and interactions in a specific place and time.
