ANTIQVVM
Allison Luce explores the ephemeral nature of existence and the mystery of eternity through her ceramic sculptures and monoprints. She has shown her artwork in solo and group exhibitions nationally and internationally and her work is included in private and corporate collections. Luce has been a resident artist in Denmark, Germany and Canada as well as throughout the United States. She has participated in American Craft Council shows in Atlanta, Georgia and serves on the Board of Directors of CIVA. Luce has received numerous grants and awards for her sculptures and her work has been reviewed in a variety of publications.
Born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Luce grew up in northeastern Ohio and graduated with dual BFA degrees in Painting and Art History from Ohio University and her MFA from Hunger College, City University of New York.
She currenly lives and works in Charlotte, North Carolina and on Hilton Head Island where she is a studio artist and an adjunct instructor.
