Experience Columbus Launches New Brand Campaign

Experience Columbus, the destination marketing organization for Columbus, is hoping to welcome even more visitors in the future and spread awareness of Ohio’s capital through its newest brand campaign — yes, Columbus. The campaign is the result of more than a year of research and market testing, and was created in partnership with the City of Columbus, Franklin County, One Columbus and Downtown Columbus, Inc. The video-driven advertising campaign will reach potential visitors within a 250-mile radius of Columbus.

“The yes, Columbus campaign ushers in a bold new era for Columbus and spotlights our community’s biggest accolades,” said Sarah Townes, chief marketing and innovation officer for Experience Columbus and the Greater Columbus Sports Commission. “The campaign uses the accolades to change the perception of Columbus and invite visitors to experience the city firsthand.”

yes, Columbus is the result of extensive market testing among key audiences, including visitors, meeting planners and residents. Experience Columbus believes it will change viewers’ opinions about Columbus and intrigue audiences to want to learn more.
